She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Guy "Buddy" McPherson and Billie McPherson of Roswell, NM.; her daughter-in-law Hannah; her children, Breanna Buckelew of Roswell, NM and Cody Buckelew (Hannah) of Roswell, NM; her grandchildren, Canyon, Harper and Cade; her sisters, Lisa Simmons (Gary) of Ruidoso, NM and DeAnna Guynes of Westlake Village; her sisters-in-law, Linda Buckelew of Roswell, NM. and Mary McPherson of Roswell, NM.; her nephews, Nathan Guynes (Lesli), Long Beach, Adam Guynes (Lauren) of Oak Park, CA, Dylan Guynes (Antuela) of Agoura Hills, CA and Hayden Simmons (Celeste) of Jal, NM; her niece Ricci Sappington (TJ) of Dexter, NM.; her great-nephew Craig Sappington (Hanah) of Roswell, NM; her great-nieces, Aubrey Sapptington of Dexter, NM and Laura Sappington (Kai) of Roswell, NM.; her husband Windle "Doug" Buckelew; her sons, Marshall and Johnathan; and her brother Richard McPherson. She was also cherished by many great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church of Roswell, NM (2420 N Garden Ave, Roswell, NM 88201).
