He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Griffin and Freda Ione Garrett; his daughter Lisa Ann Griffin; his siblings, Geneva NeSmith, Norma Jetton, Linda Bliss and Ronnie Griffin; and his son-in-law Mike Valdez.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Griffin of Roswell, NM; his daughters, Rita Valdez of Ruidoso, NM and Paula Terry (Danny) of Portales, NM; his sibling's children, Benny Bliss of Snyder, TX, Kenny Davis of Lubbock, TX, Cindy of Herrera and Kathy Gersteinberger of Lubbock, TX; his grandchildren, Guy Griffin (Alice) of Cuba, NM, Cody Griffin of Austin, TX, Amanda Bonner (Jake) of Portales, NM, Zachary Terry of Portales, NM and Kacie Fine (River) of Nashville, TN; and his great grandchildren, Ryder Eric Griffin of Cuba, NM, Peyson Clay Bonner, Sadie Kay Bonner, Laynie Brooke Bonner and Rowan Knox Fine of Nashville, TN..
