Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Charles Thompson of Roswell, New Mexico, born in Cascade, Idaho, who passed away at the age of 74, on October 2, 2025. In the sacred silence of farewell, Charles is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Charles' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Thompson and Betty Thompson; his daughter Lauren; and his sister-in-law Debra Carrasco. He is survived by: his daughter Meghan (Joseph Manzanares); his grandchildren, Cade, Anika and Julian; and his siblings, Sid (Janet) and Madelyn Thompson of Roswell.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ's Church (2200 N Sycamore Ave, Roswell, NM 88201).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to causes close to Charley's heart: Christ's Church missions and ministries, the Angie Ramirez Memorial Foundation, which supports local teachers and staff bravely battling cancer—and Harvest Ministries, NM or a charity of your choice.
