He was predeceased by: his father Wray Samuels; his stepfather Jim Sanders; his brother Joe Samuels; and his niece Amanda Samuels. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Samuels; the mother of his children Denise Jackson; his siblings, James Samuels (Michele) and Lynnette Barbee (Chris); his friends, Jerrie Besing (John), Sean Martin (Amy), Dan Coleman, Nino Ceballos and Ginny; Chris, Alice Samuels and Keith Lucero (Katherine). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that he loved and great nieces and nephews that he adored; aunts, uncles, many cousins.
