He is survived by: his children, Marybelle Baca, Betty Thompson (Kenny), Jesus Baca, Jr. (Connie), Gene Baca and Melinda Baca; his grandchildren, Kailee Hill, Scarlett Baca and Jay Baca; his great great grandchild Evangeline Peterson-Hill; his siblings, Sixta Pinon, LaLa Payan, Manuela Payan and Carlos Baca (Cruzita); his grandchildren, Loretta Leos (Jose), Elfego Lucero, Jesus Baca III, Cheyenne Baca, Ember Howes and Joe Baca; his niece Virginia Jaramillo (Faustino); and his siblings, Rosario Tarin, Maria Corrales, Abel Baca, Queotilde Tarin, Pablo Baca, Nicolas Baca and Esabel "Chavela" Baca.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ballard Funeral Home (910 S Main St, Roswell, NM 88203). A rosary was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ballard Funeral Home Chapel (910 S Main St, Roswell, NM 88203). A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the South Park Cemetery (3101 S Main St, Roswell, NM 88203).
