She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lucero and Celia Lucero; her husband Monroe "Viejo" Sedillo; her siblings, Jerry Lucero, Samuel Lucero, Allene Chaves, Virgie Richardson and Raul Lucero; her son-in-law Jeff Koenig; her grandsons, Michael Hernandez and Mark Koenig; and her great grandchild Daniel Koenig.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra "Sandy" Hernandez, Carolyn "Chubby" Koenig and Bea Gray (David); her grandchildren, Jodi Archuleta (Thomas) and Rikki Ward-Hersee (Carl); her great grandchildren, Erick Hernandez (Marci), Nicolette Archuleta, Joseph Archuleta, Olivia Ward-Hersee, Alyssa McDonald and Matthew Acosta; her great great grandchildren, Cameron, Gabriel Hernandez and Everleigh Hernandez; her sister Dinah Cavanaugh; her godsons, Victor Martinez, Granville and Richardson; her close friends, Rita Valdez, Lucy Arias and Betty Martinez; and her pet Peanut. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Josephine's memory to the Chaves County Joy Center, an organization that held a special place in her life.
