He was predeceased by: his parents, Nettie LaMay and John W. LaMay; his daughter Denise LaMay; and his siblings, Dale LaMay (Maxie), Jack LaMay and Glenneth Shafer.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Kirkpatrick; his children, Ricky LaMay (AnnMarie) and Kennetta LaMay (Brian Wilmeth); his grandsons, Garrett LaMay, Justin Willis and Jody; his siblings, Evelyn Petree (Malcolm) and Johnny LaMay (Cindy Sanchez); his siblings-in-law, Joe Shafer and Paula LaMay; and his aunt Anna Mae LaMay.
