She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Sr. Hunter and Wynogene Hunter; her husband Pat Joyce; and her brothers, Houston Hunter Jr. (Thana), Judson Anderson (Beulah), Bob Oyler (Bama) and Jim Crouse (Sara Ellis).
She is survived by: her siblings, George (Janice Hunter), Sam (Sandy Hunter) and Peggy (Tom Edmister); her brother-in-law Ron Ellis; her daughters, Valerie (Steve McKee), Debbie (Ben Coats), Trish (John Gull) and Kelly Verner; her grandchildren, Michael McKee (Brittany Weaver), Kevin (Apple McKee), Chris Coats (Patrick), Emily Coats (Ashley Coats), Chance Coats (Kim), Mark England (John), Lori Whann (Bill Gull) and Jordan Gull (Brad DeSalvo); and her great grandchildren, Brenna Quinn Weaver-Mckee, Abby McKee, Maggie, Ryan, Nathan, Ethan, Kylie, Harlow, Arden Coats, Ava, Lauryn, Blakely Vernon, London, Kingston England and John Whann IV. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
