He was predeceased by: his father Manuel Mendoza; his siblings, Wilfred Mendoza and Yvonne Marquez; his nephew Joshua Marquez; and his niece La Maeya Mendoza.

He is survived by: his mother Olivia Mendoza; his children, Angelo and Celeste; and his siblings, Dagoberto Mendoza, Wilma Mendoza and Sonia Caballero.
