He is survived by: his children, David Hoekstra (Sheri), Darla Breedyk (Arie), Doree Figueroa (Tim) and Daylene Gohres; his grandchildren, Ryan Breedyk (Morgan), Kristen Kamper (Larry), Aaron Breedyk (Rachel), Cherise Rainwater (Brady), Candise Crow (B. J.), Justin Breedyk (Shiloh), Cory Figueroa (Breanne), Katelyn Krakauskas (Mitch), Arielle Breedyk, Courtney Gohres and Chase Gohres; his siblings, Peir Hoekstra (Debbie), Agnes Koetsier, Clara Groot (John) and Wilma VanDam (Don); and his sisters-in-law, Margie Hoekstra and Jean Hammett.
