She was predeceased by : her parent Henry J. Hughes (Peggy Stevens); her grandchildren, Bradley Cooper and Kendra Cooper; her son Carl Edwin Cooper Jr. (Eddie); her siblings, James Hughes, Richard Hughes and Peggy Ann Paradee; and her parent Sug.

She is survived by : her husband Carl E. Cooper of Roswell; her sons, James Wendell Cooper (Brenda) of Glendale, Gordon Brian Cooper (Paula) of Roswell and Martin Bradley Cooper (Rhonda) of Roswell; and her sister Jennie Lou Hughes Mays.
