She was predeceased by: her parents, Concepcion Sifuentes and Antonia Cisneros Sifuentes; her former husband Joaquin Aguirre Sr.; her daughter Sylvia Aguirre; and her brother Daniel Sifuentes.

She is survived by: her children, Joaquin Aguirre Jr., Rosa Aguirre-Chavez (Daniel D. Chavez), Maria Sopher (Lee), Josie Silva (Michael), Leticia Medrano (Richard III), JoAnn Mendoza (Junior), Jose Aguirre and Elizabeth McMullan (Sean); her husband Junior; Maria Perales (Jesus) and Annie Sanchez. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
