It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Simona Ponce Montez of Roswell, New Mexico, born in Artesia, New Mexico, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. J." Montez of Roswell, Anna Montez of Hagerman, Brianna Montez Lopez of Sachse, TX, Isaac Montez of Ft. Worth, TX and Marco Montez Winell of New York, NY.; and her cousins, Maria Aguilar, Cuca Mendoza, Margaret Darrough and Ivonne Castañeda.
