Karen Jaramillo wrote a sympathy message

“We are very sorry to learn of Wes's passing. While many people in Roswell may have simply known him as the big homeless man who walked around town, to those of us at the UFO Museum, Wes was so much more—a true friend.Wes was remarkably intelligent, often called a walking encyclopedia. He spent hours in the UFO Museum’s Library, not to study UFOs, but to immerse himself in The Holy Bible. Our prayers go out for Wes, knowing he now has all his questions answered, and he rests peacefully.”
