He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Odel Moon and Dorothy Marie Hoffman; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Pat Horn (Patsy); and his children, Natalie (David), Michael (Dawn) and Melborne. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
