We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2022, at the age of 85, Charles Rex Hartgraves (Ruidoso, New Mexico), born in Artesia, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Cornelious Rex and Elizabeth Eileen Barnes Hartgraves; his wife Nell Davis Hartgraves; his daughter Kay Lynn Hartgraves; his brother John B. Hartgraves; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Davis Cox and Lynn Davis.

He is survived by : his son Charles Davis Hartgraves; his grandchildren, Chandler (Retha), Chase (Brittany) and Cameron (Hailey); his daughter Lee Ann; his son-in-law Chet Southard; his grandchildren, Ashlee Cillessen (Dale), Joseph Layne Southard (Scheryiah) and Shelby Kay Lynn Southard; his brother Michael B. Hartgraves (Marilyn); his great grandchildren, Dean, Claire Cillessen, Arlyn, Schryer Southard and Allie Hartgraves; and his siblings-in-law, Maxine, Jimmy Derrick, Dub and Jenny Cox.

Memorial donations may be made in Charles Rex's name to the Gateway Church, Christian Services program, 415 Sudderth Drive, Ruidoso, NM 88345.
