With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald David Ricker Sr. of Ruidoso, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his wife Judy; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his son Donald Jr.; his daughter-in-law Terri Ricker; his children, Sean, Kayla of Albuquerque, NM and Kim; his son-in-law Dave Schouweiler; his granddaughters, Jennifer Bolton (Sean) and Tara Weatherly (Scott) of Colorado; his son Richard (Mei Fang Ricker); his granddaughter Kate of Lubbock; his great grandchildren, Dominic, Nathan, Marissa, Wren and Nash; his sister Linda Hillock (Roger) of Scarborough, ME.; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Wernig, Barbara Vallez (Efram) and Eddie Lessard (Barbara).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Saint Matthew United Methodist Church (5320 50th St, Lubbock, TX 79414).
