With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Martinez of San Jon, New Mexico, who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Porfirio Martinez II. He is survived by: his mother Clara V. Aragon of San Jon, NM; his wife Theresa Martinez; his children, Tasha Lee of San Jon, NM, Julia Morrison (Kevin) of Tucumcari, NM, Gwendlyn Martinez (Andrew Garcia) of Tucumcari, NM and Porfirio Martinez III (Jessica); his siblings, Danny Martinez (Terri) of San Jon, NM, Donna Pullen of San Jon, NM and Dannette Flores (Simon) of Hobbs, NM; and his grandchildren, Tristian Reed, Matthew Martinez, Mamie Martinez, Gabriel Martinez, Alexus Lafferty, Dace Lafferty Jr., Aubrey Reed, Porfirio Martinez IV, Ava Martinez, Gi'Anna Aragon and Joseph Aragon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Angels (1430 N Thornton St, Clovis, NM 88101). A rosary was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Anne's Church (306 W High St, Tucumcari, NM 88401). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
