He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacobo Ortiz and Virginia Ortiz; his siblings, Isabel Madrid (Raymond), Margaret Crespin (Emeterio), Melita Dimas (Herman), Lory Martinez (Ambrosio), Jakie Gonzales (William), Remija Griego (Eliseo), Jose Ortiz (Rita) and Eloy Ortiz (Sadie); his in-laws, Manuel (Jose), Elfego (Lucille) and Virginia Lambert; his son Ralph Edward Ortiz (Melinda); and his grandchildren, Little Toby Ortiz and Elijah Montano.
He is survived by: his wife Molly Ortiz; his children, Tommy (Sheryl), Patricia (Paul), Lorraine (Albert) and Maria (Karl); his sister Corita Ortiz; and his in-laws, Leo (Isabel) and Gabby (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A rosary will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the San Miguel Del Vado Church (1223 Hwy MM 3, San Miguel, NM 87560). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
