He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline Naranjo; his sons, Frank Jr. and James Naranjo; his mother Maria Cajete; his siblings, Clara, Pauline Cajete, Manuel and Jimmy Cajete; his brother-in-law Paul Gutierrez; his nephew Paul Gutierrez Jr.; his brother-in-law Alex Salazar; his nephews, Gilbert, Richard and Miguel Salazar; and his sister-in-law Margaret Rose Gutierrez.

He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Naranjo; his daughter-in-law Carol Naranjo; his granddaughters, Paulina and Helena Naranjo; his great grandchild Wynter Tafoya; his sister Maggie Salazar; his sister-in-law Dorothy Gutierrez; and his close friend Alice Chato. He is also survived by her family; also numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives, and many friends.
