She is survived by: her husband Isidro; her children, Leonard Altamirano (Katrina) of Morenci, AZ, Adam Altamirano (Camille) of Hurley, April Altamirano of Silver City and Jeanette Medran (Tony) of Tyrone; and her siblings, Candelario Barragan (Jeanie) of San Manuel, AZ, Jimmy Barragan (Grace) of Albuquerque, Amelia Acosta (Dennis) of Denver, CO and Connie Parra (Danny) of Silver City. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Terrazas Funeral Chapels (1 Fort Bayard Rd, Santa Clara, NM 88026). A rosary was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Santa Clara Catholic Church (207 S. Bayard, Santa Clara, NM 88026). The inurnment was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Bayard National Cemetery (200 Cam De Paz, Fort Bayard, NM 88036).
