He is survived by: his close friend Ida H. Sandoval; his daughter Lori Martinez (Ted); his grandsons, Mathew Ortega (Kristen), Alec Ortega and T. J. Martinez; his great grandchildren, Averix Rios, Ayden Rios and Annalisa Ortega; and his siblings, Fermin Lopez Sr., Fernando Lopez, Braulia Baca (Hilario) and Celia "Sally" Lopez.
