She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Portillo and Margaret Portillo (Alires); and her son Steven Pickering. She is survived by: her children, Victoria Vernor, Ronnie Pickering, Yvette Ortiz (Pete), Billy Wright (Tina) and Brenda Wright (Aaron).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Terrazas Funeral Chapels (1 Fort Bayard Rd, Silver City, NM 88061).
