Alicia Ortiz Eiland Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alicia Ortiz Eiland (Santa Fe, New Mexico), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Don Edwin Eiland; her children, Donna Anne Sanford and William King Eiland; her great grandchild Allan Sanford; and her siblings, Eddie Ortiz, Jerry Ortiz, Patrick Ortiz, Consuelo Gonzales and Eleanor "Betty-Lou" Bove.
She is survived by: her son Stephen Anthony Eiland of Albuquerque's Historic Barelas Neighborhood; and her brother Rudy Ortiz. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her like a second mother.
