He is survived by: his children, Charlanne Cooper (John), Charles Atwell (Diane), Steven Atwell (Cherry) and Lorin Schelble; and his grandchildren, Jenny Lively, Charlie Atwell, Crystal Atwell, Vanessa Atwell, Kendra Padilla, Tara Carpenter (Bobby) and Mercedes May (Nathanael).
