He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Montoya and Rosalie Montoya; his brother Herman Montoya Jr.; and his nephew Greg Sandoval. He is survived by: his daughters, Leticia (Robert) and Estrella; his grandchildren, R. J., Adelina and Isadora; his siblings, Larry (Diane), Marcella (Rick) and Viola Martha (John); and his godson Raymond (Tanesha). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
