He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Robert Mares; his parents, Rosemarie Ulibarri and Rudy; his aunts, Pauline Mares (Mark) and Christine Gonzales (Art); his cousins, Joseph, Cheryl, Elisa and Veronica; his friend Juli King; and his grandparents, Robert E. Mares and Flora P. Mares.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rivera Family Funeral & Cremations of Santa Fe (417 Rodeo Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87505).
