She is survived by: her parent Cynthia Joyce MacQuarrie; her siblings, Selena Nagaoka, Omina Salcedo and Dominic Nagaoka; her husband Brad Baskett; her daughters, Teja Drane, Aisha Herrera and Mona Herrera; and her grandchildren, Leticia, Paul Jr. and King Oliver.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Sea Turtle Conservation Fund, a cause close to Desiree's heart.
