He was predeceased by: his parents, Catalino Maez and Agapita Helena Roybal Maez; and his son David Maez. He is survived by: his son Eddy Jr.; his granddaughter Amara Nevaeh Maez; his daughter Patricia Ann Berry (Bryan); his grandchildren, Arius Jacob, Alizah Lily and Kaliyah Hope Berry; his siblings, Gloria Breiderbach, Lourdes Rains, Lorraine Brooks, Agapito Maez and Freddie Maez; and his close friends, Manny and Elaine Chavez.
