He was predeceased by : his father Frank Duran; and his grandson Evan Kaspor Pecherski. He is survived by : his mother Mary Ruth; his wife Karen Vigil; his children, Amy Vigil-Pecherski (James), Jacqueline Kate Crespin (Justin) and Kenneth Lucas Duran (Mark Childers); and his grandchildren, Lucas James Pecherski, Mason Alexander Pecherski, Athena Taylor Pecherski, Mariah Kate Johnson, Hailey Lailani Johnson, Sebastian Reyes Crespin and Isaiah.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Santo Niño Regional Catholic School.
