We are sad to announce that, on August 12, 2021, at the age of 85, Edward Ortiz (Santa Fe, New Mexico) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Ortiz and Erminia Ortiz; his wife Andrea; his son Paul Ortiz; and his siblings, Consuelo Romero and Manuel Ortiz.

He is survived by: his children, John Ortiz (Jessica) of Las Vegas, NV, Thomas Ortiz of Santa Fe, NM, Pauline Laumbach (Hank) of Rainsville, NM and Martin Ortiz (Jennifer) of Rio Rancho, NM; his grandchildren, Mathew Ortiz (Michelle), Ashley Ortiz, Adam Laumbach (Katelina), Alyxandra Ortiz, Santiago Laumbach and Antonio Ortiz; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica Rosa of Las Vegas, NV., Fernanda Marquez of Las Vegas, NV. and Meny Marquez of Las Vegas, NV.; his brother Terry Ortiz (Angel) of Las Cruces, NM; and his siblings-in-law, Katie Chavez of Bernalillo, NM, Flemie Chavez (Diane) of Albuquerque, NM and Robert Chavez (Marie) of Austin, TX. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins, and friends.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.
