He was predeceased by his parents, Marcos Gonzales and Elena Alarid Gonzales; his former wife Arlene; and his daughter Angel Hopkins, his siblings Ernestine (Cayetano Chavez), David (Diana) and Lorenzo (Dolores). He is survived by his wife Melody Stumpff Gonzales; his granddaughter Destiny Gonzales (Melody); his children, Laura Bajune, Dina Hennessy (Tom), Mark “Sparky” (Sharon) and Lisa Nuss (Rick); his step-daughters, Veronica VanHoose and Stacey Lightfoot (Kelsey); and his siblings Sam Gonzales, Pancha Martinez and Antonio Gonzales. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many extended family.
