He is survived by : his mother Rita Gurule; his son Joe Gurule; his daughter-in-law Melissa; his brother Robert Gurule; his sisters-in-law, Terri and Gloria; and his brothers, Anthony Lujan, Dwayne Lujan and John "Ed" Vigil. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many life-long friends.
