He is survived by: his wife Leticia Garcia of Contreras; his children, Laura Martinez (David Martinez), Miguel Contreras (Jerinda Vigil) and Veronica Contreras (David Fernando Ruiz); his grandchildren, Natalia, Antonio, Ashely, Angel, Mikayla, Fernando and Ezekiel; and his sister Elizabeth Contreras Baca of Ciudad Juarez.
