He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gloria Calles Kahn; his children, Leroy, Yvonne (Bob), Yvette (Huck), Chris (Tabitha) and Kevin (Laurene); his grandchildren, Melissa, Corey, Derrick, Garrett, Antonio, Cresencio (CK), Santiago and Isaiah; his great grandchildren, Sean, Andrew, Mya and Banx; his grandparents, Manuel and Amalia Kahn; his mother Margaret Kahn; his aunt Mary; his uncle Clarence Kahn (Odelia); his brother Teddy Kahn (Mary); his grandson Reyes Kahn; his parents-in-law, Simon and Ramona Calles; and his in-laws, Delfina Borrego, Consuelo Calles, Estevan Calles and Guillermo Calles (Antoniette).
Growing up as a devout Catholic, he served as an altar boy and later became an usher, lector and president of the Guadalupe Historic Foundation.
