She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph John Bergman and Susanne Easter Bergman. She is survived by: her daughter Xena Carter; her stepdaughter Sarah Miller Paulson; her grandchildren, Grant and Flynn; and her rambunctious bearded collie Cumbia.
To celebrate Lloyd's lifelong love of animals, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to either Española Humane Animal Shelter or the Virunga National Parks, a UNESCO World Heritage Site internationally recognized for its exceptional wildlife and habitats.
