With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Manuel E. Romero (Santa Fe, New Mexico), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2026 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe B. Romero and Rita Romero; his wife Frances Romero; his parents-in-law, Cipriano and Cirila Sandoval; his son Carl Romero; his grandsons, John David Romero Jr. and Adrian Garcia; and his siblings-in-law, Elena Lopez, Linda Romero, Eva Sandoval, Gregorio, Ernesto, Flavio, Johnny and Luis.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon (Mike), Vivian (Reynaldo) and John David; his daughter-in-law Dee Ann; his brothers, Phil (Corrine) and Robert; his sister-in-law Marylou; and his grandchildren, Charlotte Gonzales, Ronnie Lopez and Brandy Dean. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
