With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria E. Sanchez (Santa Fe, New Mexico), who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Maria is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Maria's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maximilliano Sanchez and Helen Ellis Sanchez. She is survived by: her wife Signe I Lindell; her siblings, Max Sanchez, Karen Sanchez and Kathy Pearce; her children, Anne Nakon (Scott) of Ann Arbor, MI, Dante (Tres) and Simi (Michelle) of Palmdale, CA; and her grandchildren, Max Nakon and Kali Simi.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maria's honor to The Friendship Club or The Food Depot.
