She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Maes and Antonia Maes; her parents-in-law, Alfredo D and Lora Martinez; and her grandson Alfredo Martinez.
She is survived by: her husband Deacon Juan R Martinez; her children, Bernadette Gonzales (Ray), Gerald (Cindy), Lawrence (Paul Moorman), Vernon (Kathy Porter) and Stephanie Tammaro (Doug); her nephew Mark Maes (Gina); her caregiver Silvia Avila; her grandchildren, Melissa Cobos, Dominic, Jolene, Jason, Eric Tenorio, Matthew, Arianna Tammaro and Miquela Tammaro; her great grandchildren, Caleb Cobos, Kiersten Cobos, Eithen, Christina, Mila Alonzo, Elijah Alonzo, Atlas and Noelle Maryjane; and her siblings, Leo Maes, Genevieve Maes and Celestine Chavez (Seferino). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close family friends.
