It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Luis Martinez (Santa Fe, New Mexico), born in Rowe, New Mexico, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Isabel Martinez; his parents, Urbano Martinez and Bernadina Martinez; and his siblings, Joe Martinez, Max Martinez, Bernie Martinez, Rose Cordova, Flora Hampshire, Angie Martinez and Tita Herrera.
He is survived by: his close friend Celia Vialpando; his children, Vicki Trujillo (Celine), Edward Martinez (Jeanette) and Sylvia Valdez (Paul); his siblings, Bobby Martinez (Betty), Urbano Martinez, Jr. (MaryAnn) and Eliza Romero (Max); his grandchildren, Jesse Martinez (Angie), Charlotte Martinez, Jeffrey Valdez (Robin), Jessica Valdez and Crystal Purdue (Billy); and his great grandchildren, Jazmin Valdez, Rylee Valdez, Billy Purdue III and Lia Purdue. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
