He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Garcia and Anastacia Garcia; his wife Tillie Garcia; his sons, Manuel, Jesus and Ernest Garcia; his daughter-in-law Rita Garcia; his great grandchild Nicholas Sanchez; and his son-in-law Luis Vela.

He is survived by: his children, Antonio Garcia (Dolores), Eleanor Narvaiz (Adolph), Elena Vela, Marie A. Garcia and Cynthia Garcia; and his grandchildren, Isaac Garcia, Erika Winslow, Jennifer Martinez, Johanna Sanchez, Michael Vela, Alex Hinojoza, Adam Martinez, Vincent Garcia, Patrick Sanchez, Jonah Armijo, Nicholas Hinojoza-Little and Dwayne Wilson. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, 28 Great-Grandchildren, and 18 Great-Great Grandchildren.
