He was predeceased by: his mother Guadalupe Sanchez; and his grandparents, Enrique, Benina Sanchez, Crestino and Eloisa Rivera.

He is survived by: his father Eloy Sanchez; his wife Jone Sanchez of Santa Fe; his brothers, Phillip Sanchez (Patricia) of Santa Fe and Richard Sanchez (Brenda) of Gilbert, Arizona.; his nephew Thomas; and his niece Jessica.
