She is survived by: her daughter Shirley; her grandchildren, Chris (Bianca), Chantel (Drew) and Mercady; her sisters, Tillie Pena and Corrine Vargas; her husband Jose Montoya; her daughter Gloria (Charles); her grandchildren, Mona and Billy; and her in-laws, Santiago and Virginia Montoya. She is also survived by three great grandsons and three great granddaughters.
