He was predeceased by: his parents, Santiago Gonzales and Celedonia Gonzales; his wife Florence Olivia Gonzales; his children, Roberta Ann and Steven Gonzales; his grandson Aaron Christian Gonzales; and his siblings, Maida Ortiz (Ramon), Esther Romero (Procopio), Mary Todd (James), Max (Annie), Alfredo, Benny (Phyllis) and Manuel Gonzales (Lola).
He is survived by: his children, Donna Bowyer (Clinton) of White Rock, Monica Garcia (John) of Santa Fe, Dennis Gonzales (Maxine Jacquez) of Española, Carol Kuper (Curt) of Albuquerque, Katrina Rupprecht (Ward) of White Rock and Kenneth Gonzales (Jennifer) of Albuquerque; his grandchildren, Sean, Justin, Mary Elizabeth, Alicia Bowyer, Marissa Collins, Alana, Reyes Padilla III, Dennis Jr., Stacey Gonzales, Cameron, Corbin, Cassidy Kuper, Shanda Moore, Erika Stupka, Stuart Rupprecht, Alex, Abigail Gonzales, Kevin and Joaquin Gonzales; and his sister Henrietta Tixier (Mariano). He is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Berardinelli Family Funeral Service (1399 Luisa St, Santa Fe, NM 87505). A rosary will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 9 Grazing Elk Dr, Jaconita, NM 87506. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501). A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
