She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Edwin Bowden and Anne Bowden; her significant other Bob Gaylor; her brother Eric Bowden (Paula) of Rockport; her stepsiblings, Molly Scarbrough (Jake) of Boulder and Jamie Bowden of Seattle; her stepmother Mary Bowden of Austin; and her brother-in-law Randy Ward of Dallas. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
