He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bennett and Mary Bennett; his wife Elaine Aragon Bennett; and his nephew Chase Bennett. He is survived by: his children, Lacy Bennett Koontz (Billy) of Santa Fe, Travis Bennett of San Francisco, California and Taylor Bennett of Jacksonville, Florida; his brother Steve Bennett (Cathy) of Decatur, Texas; and his nephew Chance Bennett (Emily) of Decatur, Texas.. He is also survived by numerous friends, cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pecos Church of Christ (13 Church Rd, Pecos, NM 87552).
