It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Maes (Santa Fe, New Mexico), who passed away on May 15, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Maes; her parents, Onecimo "Nick" Varela and Nora Varela; her sister Patricia "Titi" Varela; her father-in-law Alfonso Maes; her sister-in-law Julie Rivera; and her aunt Flora Maes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marina (Patrick) and Melissa (Guillermo); her sisters, Dorie (David) and Roselyn (Robert); her grandchildren, Jazmyn, Jeremiah, Jolen, Jayme, Mercedes and Alexandria; her nieces and nephews, Monique (Gary), Stephanie (Daniel), Roberta, Julian, Joshua of Dominick, D. J, Miguel, Jessica, Manny, Patrick, Monica, Jennifer, Briggette, Ashley, Jaclyn and Jose Armando; and her godsons, Jorge Rascon, Jose Miguel Olivas and Lorenzo Quintana.
