He is survived by: his children, James Dean Romero-Varela and Allysha Diana Romero-Varela; his father Wilfred Varela Sr.; his sister Brenda Archuleta (Jamie); his nephews, Elijah Varela, Jeremiah Varela and Andres Archuleta; his niece Maria Archuleta; his great-nephew Brandon; and his great-niece Jordynn. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, godchildren, and friends.
