Johnston (Santa Fe, New Mexico), born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Johnston and Ruth Johnston (Turner); his sister Evelyn Koprivnikar; and his siblings-in-law, John Koprivnikar, Diana Johnston (Brown) and Patricia Johnston (Pia).

He is survived by: his sons, Matthew (Sorakamol Prapasiri), Abel, Daniel and James Johnston; his former wife Marjorie; his siblings, Thomas, James (Sherry), John, Robert (Anne Saliers), Jennifer Schroeder (Karl) and Rebecca Parker (Jeff); and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Johnston. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
