It is with sadness that the passing of Winfield Andrew Scott Jr. (Santa Fe, New Mexico) is shared. Winfield, born on November 21, 1946, passed away on August 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfield Andrew Scott, Sr. (Scotty) and Norma Katherine Bielstein Scott; and his granddaughter Allison Leigh Scott (Janie Lou Scott). He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Bielstein Scott (Debbie Scott) and Peggy; his brother-in-law Pete Hollar; his niece Amie Bridges Searcy (Michael Searcy); his nephew Winfield Andrew Scott, III (Katie Scott); and his grandchildren, Izzy Searcy, Maggie Scott, Max Searcy, Andrew Chute, Elliot Searcy, Henry Chute, Katie Scott and Henry Searcy. He is also survived by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter's Episcopal Church (400 N College St, McKinney, TX 75069).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Casa de Musica Songwriter's workshop (Venmo @Eliza-Gilkyson) in Drew's memory.
